Cumberland County College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. We have been an accredited college since our founding in 1966.
Nestled in the heart of rural New Jersey, Cumberland County College has been an exceptional center for learning and training for 50 years. In those 5 decades, we have had only 6 presidents (our current president is Thomas Isekenegbe, Ph.D.). We have a very low faculty and staff turnover rate, which speaks to the friendly atmosphere you feel as soon as you step foot on campus.
CCC’s core areas of academic focus are Liberal Arts and Transfer, Career and Occupational Studies, and Continuing and Professional Education. This offers our students a wide variety of study areas to prepare them for entry into the workforce, or to progress to a four-year college and beyond.
The current student body is approximately 5,000 students. Approximately 75% of these students are beginning their academic careers. 25% of the student body is enrolled in professional and continuing education courses.
This speaks to our commitment to be an integral part of the local and regional community. The fact that a quarter of CCC students are seasoned professionals seeking further education, training and certification is proof positive that we provide the skills, knowledge, and experience to educate and train productive members of a modern society.
Over half of our current students will continue on to a 4-year college program, well-armed with the knowledge and learning skills to be successful in any field they choose.
